Cats 🐈‍⬛ Erica

Usually pepole find black cats scary cruel spooky but what do they know they haven’t own one :D!

How I describe a black cat or my black cat is…Sassy, Material girl, Unique,

And if you’re wondering what I mean is cats tend to walk around the house like They own it and try eat you’re food too like it’s there’s usually when they feel insecure the tend to go in Boxes or closets but hey that’s only 5% out of 100% sadly

Cats can jump really really high like look at your e floor know look at you’re roof themed jump from there to there there super good jumpers.

I don’t want you too think that cats are sassy own everything selfish they not just that there sweet my cat hugs me when I wake up likes my legs and feet and kisses my nose Weirdly and strangely? But she’s kind!   And not very friendly she doesn’t like being picked up and hugged you just gotta wait for the moment and shill come to you!

Are cats in heat 2 phase tho so it’s not as bad as the 1st one but let’s not talk that I suffered to much no sleep…no peace.. always screams But anyway :D let’s not go down that road  second phase is just her shacking her booty to the window ….. Weird cats? But at least she gave me hugs and purred at me when I hugged her :D

Daily Hedgehog 🦔

This blog is about cute and funny hedgehog clips , videos , shorts  and pictures .

We have them in all shapes , sizes and appearances . These clips , videos , shorts and pictures aren’t  ours .

Happy Hedgehog Day! Did you know that thousands of years ago, before Groundhog Day became a tradition, Romans would celebrate a similar event on the exact same day only with these adorable animals? The only difference is that they would look to see if the little creatures saw their shadows under a clear moon at night. And if they did, that meant that there are six more weeks of winter left. And the Romans weren't the only ones to look up to hedgehogs for advice or praise them for their unique qualities. Classical Persians saw hedgehogs as sacred because of their dedication to destroying agricultural pests. From fairy tales and cartoons to video games - this prickly creature is a true icon.

Though the seventeen species of our beloved cute hedgehogs spend their days as wild animals all over Europe, Asia, Africa, and New Zealand, they are often kept as pets, too. However, a hedgehog pet isn't an easy keeper for an inexperienced owner, as they need a very specific diet and a lot of room to exercise. Never try to take one of these animals from wild, but try to buy a baby hedgehog from domesticated hedgehog breeders.

To celebrate Hedgehog Day, Daily Hedgehog has  put together a list of hedgehog photos looking adorable as ever! Keep on scrolling to take a look, and be sure to vote for the cutest photos and videos !

Term 2 Week 9 in Year 5

Dear Parents, Guardians and Students,

World Book Day has provided us with a fantastic end to a busy week! We've immensely enjoyed listening to all of the children's 'Character in a Bag' presentations and we can tell that the students have put a lot of effort into finding their items and rehearsing their speeches. A special congratulations to our class winners, too!

In English this week we have continued to work on leaflets and are now very familiar with the different features and presentation styles. In Mathematics, we have finished off our Decimals & Percentages unit and revised for our upcoming assessments. Science this week saw the students creating different parachute designs and testing them to see which created the most air resistance when dropped. The students continue to impress us with their artistic flair, and can now paint artwork in the style of the Impressionists. On top of this, we are in full flow rehearsing for our production and it has been amazing to see all the scenes coming together.

Reminders:
Next week we are beginning some assessments so please check your blue books for the schedule.

We wish you all a safe and restful weekend,

The Year 5 Team

Term 2 Week 7 in Year 5

Dear Parents, Guardians and Students,

Firstly, the Year 5 team would like to take the opportunity to thank the entire school community for their support and understanding this week. It hasn't been the easiest of weeks but it has been incredibly heart warming to see everyone showing such wonderful support and kindness to each other. We are pleased to say that Regents International School remains a safe environment for all our students, parents and staff. Thank You!

The children in Year 5 have returned from their half term break refreshed and ready to once again impress us all with their contributions in class. In English we have started a new unit of work focusing on information leaflets. The children have carried out research on their favourite animals and created leaflets packed full of key facts and interesting details. In Maths the children have developed their understanding of decimal numbers this week; while in Science we have started a unit of work focusing on the different forces around us. In computing the children have started to plan out and design their very own computer games!

Reminders:

World Book Day will now take place on Friday 13th March.

Thank you again for all your support this week. We wish you all a safe and restful weekend,

The Year 5 Team

Term 2 Week 6 in Year 5C

Dear Parents, Guardians and Students,

The final week of this half-term has been as busy and productive as usual. We have finished off our Poetry unit by writing Haikus in Valentines Day cards today...will you be lucky enough to receive one?!

It has also been wonderful to see the students presenting their fantastic CCS & Science projects to the class. It is clear that everyone has worked hard on these projects and the students are now gaining confidence when speaking and presenting their work to the whole class. Good job, 5C!

Wishing all students and their families a fun, restful and safe half-term holiday. We can't wait to see you back in school, refreshed and ready to learn on Monday 24th February.

Have a lovely holiday,
Ms Calmeille & Ms Pia

Term 2 Week 6 in Year 5O

Dear Parents, Guardians and Students,

Another busy week in Year 5O is drawing to a close and I am sure you are all looking forward to a week of rest and relaxation. This week the children have written some fantastic Haiku's in English, a wonderful way to bring our poetry topic to a close.

In Maths and Science the children have been completing end of unit assessments for their Fractions and Living Things topics, they have performed extremely well and continue to impress with the progress they are making this term.

Today is of course Valentines Day, the children made a wonderful effort with their choice of clothing and have raised 500 Baht for a very worthwhile cause, well done everyone!

Finally, Miss Ann and I would just like to say thank you to the children for all their efforts this half term. We wish you all a safe and restful half term break and look forward to seeing you all again on Monday 24th February,

Mr Owen and Miss Ann

Term 2 Week 5 in Year 5

Dear Parents, Guardians and Students,

This week has been a particularly creative week in Year 5.

In English, we have been busy writing incredibly beautiful poems. All of our learning over the past few weeks has led us to produce amazing poems which feature similes, metaphors, rhymes, personification, onomatopoeias and alliteration. We can't wait for you to read them.

In Science, we have been exploring life cycles. As part of looking at the life cycle of birds, we cracked open some eggs to try to identify the different parts. The students carried out some inquisitive eggsploration.

The children's art skills continue to impress and dazzle us. Have a look at their 'Studies of Light' below.

As part of our 'Healthy Me' PSHE topic, we have been learning about how to handle emergency situations. We learned how to put our friends into the recovery position. If you don't already know how to do it, ask your child for a demonstration!

Please note that the Thai trip which was scheduled for Thursday 13th has been postponed. We hope to see everyone in red/white/pink with their 40 baht donation for our Valentines Charity Day on Friday 14th February.

We wish you all a safe and restful weekend,

The Year 5 Team
