Dear Parents, Guardians and Students,
What a wonderful Parents Week it has been. It has been a real pleasure to see so many parents join us both in our classroom and at the other special events hosted across the week. The children were delighted that so many parents were able to take part in our lessons this week and we hope those of you who were able to come enjoyed reliving your own school days.
The children have demonstrated a fantastic range of skills this week from creating and performing their own poems in English to working as a team to solve complex puzzles in Maths. The children of Y5O continue to amaze me with the progress they make each week and their ability to act on the feedback they are given by their teachers.
A special mention must go to our KS2 Girls Basketball team who won their first game of the season this week. Well done girls, we are all very proud of you!
All that's left to say is thank you Year 5 Parents, for the job you do with your children and for what you bring to our school. I wish you all a restful and peaceful weekend.
Mr Owen & Miss Ann
