For Art Week, Year 5 have been busy creating spooky settings for our mystery and suspense stories.
Over half term the students planned their own mystery and suspense stories, looking at key features we have learned from studying short animation films called “Francis” and “Alma”.
Have a look at the photos below from this week where you can see how we began transforming our old shoe boxes into our spooky settings.
We have used a range of resources from paint, to cotton wool, to cellophane to help create our end look.
Congratulations to our 'Explorers of the Week' who impressed us with their TEAMWORK skills this week.
What a fantastically creative week we have had. Talking about spooky things....don't forget that it's Halloween next week. We can't wait to see all your spooky costumes!
