Year 5 have got into the full swing of things this week, with ECA’s starting in the afternoons and
everyone working really hard in all their lessons. In English this week we have been learning all
about the features of a discussion texts looking at whether Gold E. Locks should be jailed for her
crimes! In Maths we have continued our work on Place Value and practising our timetables using
Times Table Rockstars. And in Science this week we have all been busy investigating the best
material to use in a lunch box, particularly looking at thermal insulators and thermal conductors.
We have also been working hard on our presentations in CCS on “can one person change the world?”.
