We enjoyed welcoming our parents to our lessons, doing activities with them and performing poems for them in assembly. It has been wonderful to hear all the things that the children love doing with their parents and what amazing memories they have of times that you spend together.
As well as writing poems to honor our parents, we have been busy with normal lessons such as problem-solving in Maths and a separating mixtures experiment in Science. We also finished off our CCS presentations about influential people. Everyone spoke clearly and confidently and presented their research in eye-catching slide presentations.
Without a doubt, the main highlight of the week has to be our tremendous basketball victory. The girls of 5C bounced, dribbled and shot their way to success in their first game of the season. All that hard work has paid off. Well done, girls! I have a feeling that this season will be our most successful yet...
