What a fantastic way to end our week, with the Chinese New Year celebration assembly. A special 'Well Done' to the girls of Year 5 who performed in the stunning fan dance.
In English this week, we have been writing poems inspired by 'Light' such as the sunlight and the moonlight. In Maths, we have been continuing our work on Fractions, looking at adding and subtracting fractions. We have been experimenting with growing plants using hydroponics in Science this week. We've germinated our little seeds and will give you a progress report next week! In CSS, we have started our new topic, Impressionism. To start off, we have examined some famous Impressionist paintings and tried to recreate them using our own skills. Have a look at our work below.
